I helped a small founding team create Artisteo, a digital marketplace that connects musicians with event organizers so they can book live music faster, with less friction and without unnecessary intermediaries.

Problem Definition
Artisteo addresses the fragmented, slow and opaque process through which event organizers currently discover and book musicians, often relying on informal networks and costly intermediaries that limit visibility and control for both sides. Independent musicians struggle to showcase their work professionally and access better gigs, while organizers lack a simple way to filter, compare and confidently choose artists.

Artisteo’s value proposition is to offer a digital marketplace where organizers can quickly find, evaluate and directly contact suitable musicians via rich profiles, filters and messaging, while musicians gain a self-managed, professional channel to centralize their portfolio and generate more predictable bookings.

Learnings
Focus the MVP on the core booking flow
Designing everything around the “discover → evaluate → contact → book” flow made it clear which features were essential (profiles, filters, messaging) and which could wait, helping reduce scope and keep the product testable.
Involve business and tech early to keep the product viable
Collaborating with the sales/commercial lead and the full-stack developer from the start helped align UX decisions with acquisition, monetization and technical constraints, avoiding solutions that were desirable but not viable.
